Hi - I’m Nicki.

I am a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Essex in the UK.

My designs and artwork are inspired by flora and fauna, along with the places I experience and discover on my travels.

I love to create collections of patterns that can be used individually but, when viewed together as a collection, truely capture a sense of time, place, and memory. The process of drawing the motifs, selecting the colour palette and harmonising the collection together takes those memories and transfers them to the surface of the paper, screen or fabric, and with it, a piece of myself.
